With the popularity of “living green” these days, ecotourism has fast become an enticing type of travel for those ready to try the next thing. But how do you know if travel plans are really environmentally friendly? By definition, ecotourism should meet three criteria:

2. A trip should sustain the economy of the place you're visiting.
3. A trip should sustain the culture of the place you're visiting.
