Radiant floor heating – There are three types of radiant floor heating: air-heated, electric, and hydronic. The most popular, hydronic, heats the floor with heated water running through tubing beneath the floor.

Eco-flooring materials – Various eco-flooring materials include sustainably harvested bamboo, cork, and natural linoleum.

Recycled building materials – This includes the use of salvaged wood such as wood gathered during the deconstruction of damaged and unused buildings.
